AUSTIN — Get ready for some fireworks.
Twelve years ago, when Randy Neugebauer was first elected to represent Congressional District 19, the Lubbock Republican faced 16 opponents — 10 Republicans, two Democrats, one independent and three third-party candidates — in a special election.
Now that Neugebauer has decided not to seek re-election we might see another crowded field in District 19, especially in the March 1 Republican primary.
